TATYANA PETUKHOVA, M.D.
Tatyana Petukhova, M.D. is board-certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery. She is a specialist in cutaneous oncology and procedural dermatology, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery, facial reconstructive surgery, laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.
Her clinical focus is on skin cancer prevention and treatment, as well as performing rejuvenating cosmetic procedures. She is dedicated to treating all patients with care and compassion to develop an individualized approach of comprehensive dermatologic care. She hopes to ensure the greatest quality of clinical care, balancing surgical approaches for cure with the ultimate cosmetic outcome, while utilizing the latest evidence-based techniques.
Dr. Petukhova received her Bachelor’s degree in Genetics, Cell, and Developmental Biology at Dartmouth College. She then pursued postbaccalaureate intramural research training at the National Institutes of Health in neurobiology. After matriculating in a dual degree program at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, she received her Medical degree and a Master’s degree with special qualifications in clinical research.
Dr. Petukhova completed her internship training at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and her Dermatology residency at the University of California, Davis. During her residency, she completed numerous clinical research studies focusing on skin cancer prevention, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Following residency, she received additional fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and procedural dermatology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Prior to joining our team, she pursued an academic career for several years as an assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College and the director of the Mohs Micrographic Surgery Laboratory at Weill Cornell Lower Manhattan. Her academic research projects have been published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals including Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, JAMA facial plastic surgery, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She has also presented at numerous national and local meetings including the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting. She continues to remain on faculty as a clinical assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College instructing resident physicians and medical students on dermatologic surgical and cosmetic procedures.
Diana Fernandez, M.S.P.A.-C
Diana Fernandez has been a Physician Assistant for over a decade. She received her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wagner College. She also received her Bachelors degree in Biology and a Masters Degree in Microbiology.
She is highly experienced in dermatology and aesthetics. She has vast knowledge in treating and diagnosing a wide array of dermatological diseases, such as acne, psoriasis, eczema and skin cancers and also performs minor surgeries and excisions.
She is a skilled cosmetic injector with experience in numerous laser therapies such as Cutera, Ematrix, and IPL and also PRP and microneedling.
She is fluent in Italian and is conversational in Spanish.
Diana Fernandez is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Lena Langer, P.A.-C
Lena Langer is a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), who graduated at the top in her class in 2001 from Pace University /Lenox Hill
Lena sees patients of all ages for both medical and cosmetic concerns and is dedicated to providing compassionate quality care that is specific to each individual patient. Lena provides a wide range of dermatologic care, such as skin cancer screenings and treatment, acne treatments, psoriasis, rashes, eczema, surgical excisions, and light therapy. Lena is also bilingual, and speaks fluent Russian.

Ms. Demirkan earned her master’s in physician assistant studies from Touro University. She keeps abreast of the latest advancements in her field to provide her patients with the care they deserve

Marek Paliwoda is a Physician Assistant. Marek graduated in 2003, having over 18 years of diverse experience in his field.
Marek has spent years volunteering his time, traveling the world, helping patients living in impoverished countries who are in need of dermatological diagnosis and treatment. Marek’s cosmetic specialties include Plasma Rejuvenation, Dermal Fillers and PDO Thread Face Lifts. He is fluent in both Polish and English.
Elazar Sofer, M.D.
Dr. Sofer is a double board certified, dual Ivy League trained facial plastic & reconstructive surgeon. Dr. Sofer is aLos Angeles native. He graduated summa-cum-laude from UCLA then graduated top of his class at UC Irvine School of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed an internship in General Surgery at UCLA Medical Center. He subsequently trained in Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Columbia University, Cornell University and Memorial Sloan Kettering. Following his residency training, he was accepted to a highly competitive AAFPRS fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, one of only about 40 such fellowship positions in the world.
Dr. Sofer has mastered advanced surgical techniques and application of the latest innovations in facial aesthetic surgery. His experience treating a vast diversity of patients allows him to personalize treatment plans tailored to each individual — producing a natural appearance.
